Replacing pressure valve in water heater

After 18 years, the pressure valve in water heater started leaking.  I finally was able to remove the original and went to Lowes for a replacement.  Below is the replacement with the same specs.  Only difference (other than it will stick out from heater another inch) is the temp probe is about 1 3/4 shorter.  Didn't see any others on the market.  This should be OK?
