Who likes free money?

I know this is going to come off as a scam - but you guys know me - and some of you know I'm a deal shark kinda guy... Not sure if any of you are on slickdeals.net or know what the original deal website was (fatwallet.com)... if you do you know a deal when you see one.

Just want to throw it out there that one of the best deals I've seen lately (and I am personally using) is the capital one shopping extension. You don't have to have a capital one credit card or bank account and there is NO hit to your credit for using it.  I could give you a referral link here where I make 80 and you make 70, but I wont because I know that makes it sound scammy.  I've done this over the last month with my family and a few friends.  Aside from "making" (you have to put it on a gift card of your choice so it's not cash but it is 1 USD to 1 USD, so there's no funny business) money, the deals are actually good, which is why I'm bringing it up here.

I've gotten numerous 50 off 100 offers (and used them) on ebay.  There was a 45% off shoes the other day, a couple 25% off walmart/target/homedepot orders.

A big one that saved almost 500 bucks hit yesterday:

This allowed me and a few friends to get an even nicer place than planned right on the beach for spring break.

If you do this, I'd recommend just using a laptop that you don't mind the shopping app watching your browsing. Yes, you are the product here.

I wouldn't put it on a work computer at all. I have a chromebook at home I use for just browsing/shopping. If you have that you're good.

If you want my link I'll send it via DM, but that's not what this post is about. You can sign up on your own and get $45 without anyones link.

One note to be careful of. MAKE SURE that before you press the order button on ANY order that you do through capitaloneshopping.com you click on the extension and see that the "activate" button says active. I personally then take a screen shot of it, just to cover my bases. You should as well.

It should look like this:

So right now

If you had something to order for your pets on chewy.com you can get 11% off + a 25 dollar gift card if it's over 100 bucks. ALSO you could take advantage of the 20 off 50 if it's your first time. (However this prob means you dont get a gift card) - either way, aside from the signup bonus if you/your wife/your brother signs up, this is literally free money.

I don't know why I took the time to type this out. I think it's because there is rarely something that comes along like this. I'm currently looking at close to 1000 dollars in my account that are just sign up and bonuses, and it's only been about 2.5 months. Merry Early Christmas to you all :D

I use both capital one shopping and slickdeals (used fatwallet & nerdwallet too).  You gotta save where you can!

As most things, when slickdeals went corporate the REALLY slick deals seem to have gone. Every once in a while there is something great posted there. Fatwallet was the precursor to slickdeals and that was where all the OG folks came from. Back then we were getting PAID to buy things.. did it multiple christmas's in a row.. those were the days!!

This capital one shopping thing is the closest thing to just doing a few things in the right order to save some serious money I've seen in a while!
