I rarely use it. I've used it to talk to dock hands when approaching a slip. And if the front canvas is totally closed, it's useful for hearing what the person on the foredeck is saying. I'd never install a dedicated hailer on a boat this size, but it's a built-in feature on my VHF.
He likes to threaten the dock hands from a safe distance. 10 bucks says he has his boat hook tips sharpened as well. 😝😝😝. All im seeing that looks beefy on defender is 8ohms.
