imageIsland Girl results were great as I do not like abrasives. The directions must be followed and I have found Island Girl customer service to be excellent. You call up and get the owner on the phone. On my platinum hull I used the 3 step process results attached. This was done over a year ago and beads like crazy. Just as maintenance I wash dry spray with Island Girl silkenseal and wipe with a microfiber cloth. Recently sealed the non skid literally you just rinse whatever gets on the non skid off and done. More than happy with the products.

Yeah but your hull wasnt faded
Thats actually what the product is meant for. If i ever get a brand new boat boat I will do it with Island girl right away. It's tough when the hull goes bad. Everyone has their own ideas but the only real way to get it back is to paint it. Everything else is a stop gap.

OK, here's my report on the 3-part process with 3M compound followed by Finesse It polisher and then Collinite paste wax.

So far, I am impressed!  After two months in the Potomac, the blue topsides look just as good as the day I launched.  They just need a fresh-water rinse now and then.  Definitely worth the extra work on this boat!
On the white parts of the hull, the contrast vs. a 1-step polish-wax is not as impressive.  Both methods look pretty good.  But the blue hull will definitely get the 3-part treatment every year from now on.
