I don't think you want it in the cabin, unless you gelcoat the base (I'm assuming you have carpet right now).
Once you rip out the carpet, you will expose raw fibreglass (does not look nice). The carpet resin will need to be sanded down, and then I'd apply a gelcoat to get the base nice. SeaDek will stick to the gelcoat, as it's a smooth surface. The other issue is they can only make the sheets so long, so if you look at the pictures you will see various sheets with the gelcoat underneath exposed in between sheets. If the cabin area is too long, they may need to break it up into 2 or more sheets, and this would require a finished under-bottom so that it looks nice in between the sheets.
I know a few people have considered putting in a linoleum teak print covering. This can be cut to your size/shape and easy to install.
@blaubatu the only thing I wish I had also done is the little step between the doorway and the sink. You might want to consider adding that. Just cutout a piece of paper or cardboard to the shape and UPS it to SeaDek so it doesn't cause delays. Tell them you don't need to check the engineering drawings to just go ahead once they receive the piece.
aero and handy - yes I was getting ready for the panthers to beat the broncos. The nails represent 4 panthers defence about to sack Payton (middle orange toe). Things didn't work out as I expected them.
Ill be getting my 310 done as soon as its warm enough to make a template. They dont have the 310 on file. Im curious to see what the cost will be for the swim platform and the cockpit.... if its over the top expensive, ill probably just do the swim platform this year.... Anyone have a ballpark figure what the cost is for the faux teak (mocha over black) ???

@SeaHareI just paid $1,256.00 for my Seadek for my 280. Deck and swim platform. Which is the faux teak mocha over camel and I will be installing yourself. Looks like dealers mark this stuff up big time
