The summer season may be behind us now, but here in NJ, September and October offer up some of the best boating weather of the year. Sadly I just received my contract for winterizing and storage, so the end is nearing, but I will make the best out of the next 2 months

yea, sweet boat, would also like to see the inside, preferably on a cruize! Can't wait to share my winterizing procedure pictures again this year.....by December, I hope we are down in the 80's!

That is one gorgeous boat.  First picture does not have the teak design on swim platform and other two have it, is that seadek?  Also is that a deer camera I see?

Ras - hardtop boats have two hatches in the hardtop.

That's not a swim platform.  That's a patio. And I'm saying that in a good way.

MarkB...Yes, they made a 420, actually a slight modification of the 410. Mine is an 07

06Rinker270:  I just had the teak appliqué applied to the swim deck...it is a SeaDek product.  I love it ! And Yes, good eye, that is a deer camera, I set it while I'm away, and it it lets me know if anyone has been aboard.  Caught one of me neighbors "borrowing" a bottle of wine. Miraculously it re appeared on my boat after I texted him the pic :-)

Rasbury:  The hardtop has 2 hatches.  They are tinted and have roll away screen and covers.

Hey Mattie, I agree that Rinker makes awesome swim platforms....and while I hate to swear on this forum if you google the "just released"  video from Sea Ray ..... Sea Ray  Sundancer 400 - You Tube take a look at the new electric, controllable, swim platform with incorporated ladder. I don't particularly like the look of the boat but that swim platform WOW!

D-30....a deer camera That's too funny! I bet your insurance company would give you a discount for having that operate. the best part with the deer cameras is that they are motion activated and time stamped. A lot of cameras are constant streaming and cost a lot to operate. deer cameras are a bargain. As for your "neighbour" how embarrassing!

wow, that is one awesome interior. I have no prior boating experience per say, owned a bass boat and a run a bout-go fast boats. Bought the 270, had never even been on a boat like this but did research a lot to select the brand. That is absolutely beautiful stem to stern! That would be lottery money for me however....

Looks like the boat isn't even being used. The summer is just starting for us, right Ras?

An interesting factoid about the 342 I discovered while perusing the '06 catalog is that the 342 has the most gas capacity per pound of empty weight of any boat in the '06 Rinker fleet.  But the 410/420's sure are pretty despite their slightly shorter cruising range.

I will have that information tomorrow.  But going by memory, the 235 gallon capacity begins with the 342 and is the same for all of the larger 2006 models.

My 2002 342FV holds 235 also.... BTW those pic's of the interior are absolutely  gorgeous. Why in the heII would Rinker stop making that????????

Great pics!  Rinker did a great thing when they added platforms to the 390 (now 400) and the 410 (now 420)!  Gotta love those platform seats!

Oh, and my boat holds 300 gallons of fuel.

Seems you could fall off those seats easy. Has anyone thought of adding a railing around the swim platform with a gate at the ladder and side?

Handy I think the better option is to not use the swim platform when you don't want to fall in the water and there is a risk.

I stand corrected on the fuel capacities.  the 342 and the 360 carry 235 gallons and the 390 and the 410 carry 300 gallons.   From the Rinker 2006 catalog.  I also have the 2005 catalog.  If anyone would like anything looked up from either of these pubs, please ask.
