Gearlube in driveshaft bellow

Gear lube level dropping after we used the boat filled it up same thing next time.
Pulled of my bravo 3 and i hade gear lube in the driveshaft bellow.
Did a pressure test 10psi after 20 hours it hade dropped to 9psi.
Ihave turned the shaft many times.
Dropped 1psi in 20h.can it be problem ?

    It was the oil seal input shaft difficult to change ?

    I'd think at some point I'd be over my head on this one....I'm still watching mine- after a prop seal shaft seal change, it kept going down but I ran all this weekend and it seems to have tapered off.....I need to check again tonight before I put the boat up but hopefully my leaking down as slowed...

    If it's a lower unit issue, why does it leak into the bellows? Just curious Al....

    sorry Al, nothing to do with the prop shaft in my question....reading this thread, swede as oil in his bellows and you mentioned input shaft seal as the possible culprit. I have looked in the manual the routing of the reservoir to the lower unit and just don't understand how oil would get into the bellows from the input shaft????

    Using loctite to the oil seal to oil seal holder ?
