As per the discussion I started

Heres the pic.......it doesn't stand out that much, I'm crouched down to take the pic. Probably most wouldn't even notice its raised. Seat also goes back further as a bonus. Used 4in alum. square tube, 5in stainless bolts, right through tube. Fits and mounts perfect.

True could do that too, good point !
Sooner or later, the aluminum will corrode. Could you dress the tubes with thin panels of Starboard instead of paint?
I was going to suggest the same thing or add some rubber end-caps like these, you can probably Plasti-Dip them white.

Yeah I'm going to cap the fronts, and leave it like that for a bit, looks very good in person. That pic is from eye level sitting on the seat, so it doesn't stand out too bad.
