I was considering changing out the outdated laminate covered areas in my cabin. Is any one aware of who may provide those services in the SouthEastern MI area?
Daze, that looks absolutely sweet! Would love to do that to our boat..sigh, the list is just to long to even see that on the radar. I'm on vacation up in the outer banks, no boat and have probably a bustigated coupler to deal with when we get home. So, can only do so much bur my 05 interior look is so outdated and hard to keep clean. It is in very good shape so I can't justify that cost but that is exactly what I would want to do...congrats on the great job and it looks fantastic!
@rasbury Thanks for the kind words. I really like the way everything turned out but what I love the most is that I don't have to worry about someone falling through the deck and all the leaks in the cabin every time it rains. Re-coring the deck was a lot of work but very rewarding, especially considering that I was quoted thousands of dollars for the labor.
@rasbury it was the ceiling / deck that had the rot which leaked water all the way down to the floor. Take a look at this thread for details about the re-coring I was referring to:
@DazeOff.... fantastic work. Nothing improves enjoyment of your boat like that and better yet it's re-sale value than some really professional personal sweat equity!
@Michael T You're right on the money. If I can do it myself, I know it will get done right and I take a lot of pride in that, not to mention the $$$$$ that stays in my pocket.
