MyS bound 310 EC is stuck at the border
Did my sea trial on Tuesday in Toronto and then a four hour boat skills course, boat is like brand new and runs out perfect. Great day on the water and boat was being loaded on a semi to Chicago Thursday at 8 am so I cleaned all the glass and put all the canvas away for the ride. Spoke to transport co at noon and were at the US border with a paperwork glitch. Needless to say it was put on 'administrative hold' and wasn't released until Friday! Due to Michigan laws you can't tow a wide load on Saturday or Sunday, and Monday is a holiday so I wont see the boat until Tuesday which really sucks as I have for sure two days worth of buffing and waxing prior to launch. Hopefully its in by Memorial day. A real disappointing set of news but on the positive side the boat is awesome with low hours and gen set only has 1.6 hours on it. When I get done detailing it will be better than new.. MT really knows how to set up a boat beautifully and those 350 mags run out real nice. Happy holiday to you Canadians and my wife and I loved Toronto but the malls cost me a bit:)!

Congrats, it must be a steal with the low CDN exchange rate
HahaHaHa...@gtyee, man I LIKE your sense of humor - reminds me of Steve (Handy) on the forum.
Good for you@gtyee - beautiful clean-up work. That's HOW my baby should look!!!!!
As for the idiot who bought it after we owned it, if I ever see that moron (he works at Ontario Power Generation in Port Credit) I'll kick his a$$. That friggin sh*tbird - I get around, he better run if he sees me coming! He swore he'd look after it. If we ever meet I'll look after him for sure. I'll put that di*k right on the ground!
Okay, I feel a bit better now. At least that moron didn't have it during the break-in (I hate that term) of all of your main components. Believe me 100% I was OBSESSIVE with all of it. There may have been some cr*p on the hull and drives when you got it but that baby was treated like a princess by us - at the crucial stages of it's early life!
Please keep the pictures coming. It hurts but in a good way! I really have great memories of skimming across the water in that baby! LOL
What?.... No shots of the engine compartment with those 350 Mags......shame!!!!!!
P.S. Maybe it is a good thing that it just sat in the water unused. That way that dipsh*t didn't get to do anything stupid with it. Maybe a silver lining to all of that! :-)
P.P.S. Just noticed something in the last picture....when I ordered the SS fender holders they sent the flimsy ones. I sent them right back and insisted on the HD SS fender holders. @gtyee, it was ALL done right!
P.P.P.S. Just noticed from the first pictures of the cleaned hull - the trim tabs were installed on the 310 with the "wings" facing down too (like the 360) that's probably why they bite so well!
beautiful rig, gtyee!!! you're going to have a great summer and many more to come!!!
