cabin ceiling liner issues

I've got part of my ceiling liner drooping down. I've thrown 2 different types of spray adhesives at it. 3M 45 spray and 3M 77 spray.
Neither have worked. I used my docking pole to put some pressure on it for a week and I come back to the adhesive still tacky and not cured to hold the liner up.
Now I have 2 types of glue in there and it's all gluey if that's a word.
BTW. The liner is all together meaning the backing is still attached.

Not sure if using an adhesive remove would end up doing more damage at this point since it's not a hard surface. Wish I had more to offer.
I'm going to see if there is a place to attach another button screw...that might be my only real option.
