Wow had no problem naming my sailboat, but still w/o a name on the Rinker..... thought naming it was going to be easy. I'm thinking "My Harley" since my wife asked me to sell my bike and buy this boat.
@wellis would you name your Harley "My Rinker" if you sold the boat to buy a bike?....lol Just kidding though I do know guys that have a name on their bikes. Keep plugging along and something will come to you.

Hmmm....thinking out loud here. 'Bike Knot'...'Knot Bike'....'Boat Oar Bike'...'Bike Lost'...'Harley a Bike'...'Harley a Boat'...'New Toy'...If it was a sailboat 'Sailbike'...
Personal opinion is that it is a lot like deciding on a Tattoo. It really needs to mean something to you. Previous owner was Italian and last name was Foca. The boat name was "Motherfoca". Didn't work for me though. My last boat was going to be named after my wife and daughter "High Maintenance" but I didn't have room for the name. This boat is "Sweet Annie" after my oldest dog. Who is a 9 yr old Rottie mix rescue that has had more surgeries and is just the sweetest dog in the world. When the Zak Brown Band song of the same name came out it just sort of stuck.
My new to me 270 had the name TAKE ME THERE "FASTER" when I bought it last fall. Seems the prior owner was a converted sailboater who had the name TAKE ME THERE on his sailboat and added "faster". He actually removed the name before delivering me the boater ause it will go on his new bigger boat. Fine with me because I didn't like the name. It's new name will be LUVINLIFE, like my screen name here. I am a cancer survivor and have a great family, a great job and a great life...hence the name. I had the vinyl name made already and will apply it in the spring
"Knot Quite Shore" Well....not "technically" ours yet. Sea trial and delivery in 7 days. But surveys have all been done, PDI checks etc. All good. Not anticipating any issues...can hardly wait! Original owner named her. Apparently owned a construction company and in the early days when the crew would gather at the shop at night asking where they might be working the next morning, invariably the boss would answer 'not quite sure" and it became a catchphrase. 2nd owner, who worked for him apparently didn't own it long enough to bother renaming it. And now the Admiral and I have thought about it and I think we're going to leave it alone for now. I can't really think of anything else I really, really like. I do find it a little long and unwieldy for a radio call handle. But it kind of fits, because although owning a cruiser has been a dream for a long, long time, it also scares the crap out of me as far as maintenance and repair costs. So "Knot Quite Shore" it was a smart move, although I'm sure once we get a bit of time under our belts, it'll be just fine.

Well....lets just say at the time I thought I had better things to do than go to high school.
