    It seems to...i don't have issues pumping it out @ liberty44140. Also, looking on their website...when I flip the switch to dry or pull water in, it pulls water in on either position...so there seems to be issues with the pump..

    I had rebuilt mine when I bought the boat and it worked better but I don't think it ever worked correct. Did not work at all when I purchased. I bought one on amazon yesterday for 75 bucks, the whole pump asy. I think it is also the newer version twist and lock what ever that means....cheaper than buying the re build kit. I love the internet but I don't see how as many brick and mortar stores will be needed in the future...

    Sounds like a good idea, on one of my dads old sailboats with a manual head something wasn't right in the hand pump assembly and liquids would go the wrong way. Worth $75 to rule that out and have a new one.
