So I got another template from another member from a 2002 Rinker 270 Fiesta Vee to have my EVA Foam ( sea dek) material cnc cut and made out. Came out absolutely beautiful and couldn't wait to put it on . Checked it today and the template is slightly different. So 2002 and 2003 must be different. I got no use for it now. So anyone with a 2002 Rinker Fiesta Vee email me at joshm@optonline.net and Ill make you the deal of your life on it lol.

@jmichels, Received mine a couple days ago, laid on top of swim platform its ok, Have not installed yet, tomorrows project. Is it so far off you cannot cut it? trim it, to make it work. In experimenting with it its easy to cut and shape. and alter. Sorry the two swim platforms are different. I'm going to do the cockpit area next. But have to make drawings.

Question for you guys. I was at a marina earlier this summer and a technician was sanding a swim platform with a small palm sander. I asked a marina employee what was going on with the boat. he said it was prep work prior to installing some brand of after market teak decking.

The question: Do you guys sand your platforms to prep for your decking or is it just pressed down?

Michael T good point. There is the skid resistant texture on the platform that will probably make it harder to stick down. maybe sanding isnt such a bad idea. Although that 3m pressure sensitive adhesive back is pretty good stuff on a nice clean surface hit with acetone.

Do you want real teak or a faux teak product?  I highly recommend marinemat. It is just like Seadek but a bit thicker.

Contact Sea Dek directly and tell them you need the template kit. I think it's about $40 and they'll mail it to you. I just got one for my 04 270. Here is what is included.

Hey RR how much did that run ya? I've got that exact setup, looking for 1 through 5 and then 13 through 16..

just FYI I called them up and placed an order for 5 and 13 through 16... total was $159  maybe I should have added in 17 now that I look at it.. not sure. I've already got new carpet as of last year so I didn't really want the rest. 1-4 was about 600 bucks give or take

Jeff I ordered 1-15 but I went with a local guy that sells GatorStep out of Knoxville, TN. It was $1525 for the pieces and I'm going to install myself.

Any chance there is a page 2 to that template or can you provide it in PDF form?  There aren't any measurements listed.  Also, I read in another forum that there are three different deck models for the 2005 Fiesta Vee 270.  Any chance anyone has an actual 2005 template?  I think it's the same as this 2004, but I'd like to be certain.  Also, I'd like to be able to purchase EVA faux teak from another manufacturer since SeaDek is outrageous in price.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you. - Craig

Straight down the center of the bow to the anchor locker.

Yes, I test fit the template in my 04 and it fits great! I opted to not get the pieces that go from the windshield to the anchor locker. I was quite surprised when the drawing showed up with that on there actually, lol
