I've been told it doesn't have the reversing valve . Knowing nothing at all about cruisers, is it possible to have this added ? Or does it require a new unit ?
Where are you located... somehow I got a 270 with no heat as well.. would be nice while its on dry dock, but I just bought an electric heater for 40 bucks that does the job..
I installed a 16.000btu heat/a.c. unit from King Marine air back in 1994, it's has been running perfect to this day. At the time they were the least expensive unit in the industry.
Months later ,last week I took pics of unit . Sent them to factory, they say it has the valve. The previous owner says it never worked for him. Today going through literature , I find the panel is programmable.THe panel has 3 setting for mode, auto , Cool only and Heat only . It was programmed for "COOL" only cycle. So I set it to auto . I'm hoping this will make it heat . Thanks to all for your input and answers
