Looking at the spec for your model seem no mention of how many amps at start up but they ask for a15 amps fuse. So if you used 15 amps has a reference with say 15 feets you should be ok with 10 gaug. Paul
Got the fridge install done. Added a 15amp ac breaker to the panel with the accessory blank and ran 14/3 stranded marine wire (about 28'). Put a waterproofsurace mount ac box mounted to wall inside fridge compartment Added 15 amp DC breaker from accessory and ran 10 gauge wire to fridge. Order 23"x 23", 1/4" starboard with 1/4" bevel. Here are some final pics
That looks awesome!!! I would have done this already, but my ONLY concern is battery draw. We stay at anchor for sometimes 5 days straight and during that time the (cabin) fridge is the main consumer of battery power. Just wondering how long my two house batteries would last with a second fridge drawing power constantly... Yet as I am typing this I am thinking back to that silly little cooler that just loves to melt my ice(and can barely hold 3 beers and a half pound of bacon). I am purchasing a RTIC 45 or 65 soon which will greatly improve cold storage for that week on the hook.... BUT MAN DO I LIKE THAT FRIDGE THERE!!!
@diggin2day1....there are very detailed and lengthy discussions on this forum about the use of mini generators (quiet and powerful) like Honda and Yahama that will easily run fridges and ice makers and some will run AC too. Some models Honda and Yahama can be daisy chained.
BTW @frenchship posted an AWESOME set-up that he made for his portable generator. I showed it to a guy at the marina I used to be at and he copied it. It worked 100% and changed his boating life - his words!

I have a Honda eu2000 that I bring with me(so the wife can use the hair dryer... yeah)... Michael, I quickly searched through @frenchship discussions but I couldn't find the thread on the generator setup that you referenced. Any chance you could post a link? Oh and like others have said recently... @Michael T it's nice to see you posting on here again!!!
If you need more Infos or pictures let me know. Paul
Thanks Paul, that is an awesome job!! Im not sure that I could do anything similar in my FV270 due to the lack of a transom locker... I saw that @06Rinker270 was planning on doing the same thing, any info on the install on a 270?
I have pics of mine above in link. Now to the cost fridge $600, ac wire and breaker ~$45, dc wire and and breaker $45, starboard ~$45, ac box and receptacle ~$10.
so about $750 all in, without beer after project for you and buddy that helped you fish ac wires
@tniggel. do you remember what color star board you ordered? And was that 1/4" thick with a 1/4 bevel or 1/8" bevel? I just ordered the fridge!!!! can't wait to get this done...thanks
It's white/white 1/4" thick. I am not sure what bevel he got. I thought it was 1/8", but I will let @tniggel answer that. If I see him today, I will ask.

very nice...would sure enjoy the extra space..we try and eat almost all meals on board...table rock lake is great for boating..but only a cple places for dining and what they do offer is mostly heavy & fried. hey @gack...was the install plug and play ..... or
@trip_n - I replaced my Tundra fridge in the cabin and had to increase the width of the cutout in the galley cabinet by 3/4" for this fridge as it's a little bigger, other then that, it was plug and play. Great fridge and seems much more roomy then the old one.
