Hey moderators -- too many announcements?

Some of the sticky "announcements" that appear at the top of the list may have outlived their usefulness.  Maybe the moderators should consider changing the following posts from announcements back into normal messages:

I doubt anybody wants to remove stuff that our buddy Steve W posted, but I don't think he intended them to be permanent.  Ten stickies seems like too many.

    Way better. I think the 4 that are left are great, three are used regularly and the "Coming Soon" is a good spot to watch for any updates/announcements from the mother ship, whenever they may occur.

    OK guys this thread has gotten out of hand. #1 we as moderators (Me Dream Inn and MVN) are not paid for doing what we do. Rinker owns and pays for this forum. I can only speak for myself here but I put a real lot of time into doing what I do for this forum. I check the spam "folder" every time I am on. I correct spelling when I can and I get emails from Vanilla about different other things. The only "reward" I get is knowing the forum will be there day after day and not close down like the old RBO. Now with that said it is not the responsibility of the moderators to "denounce" or remove any posts or announcements posted by Rinker. They are using this forum for potential customers as well as current owners. If they want a post removed we just let them remove it. If someone has a problem with a post from Rinker then send a moderator a PM and then we will deal with it. Other than that enjoy the forum and Happy and Safe Boating to ALL brothers and sisters of the RBOC!!!!!!!!!!!!
