Screw Cover Vinyl

Just like everyone else with an older boat, my screw cover vinyl has shrank over the years. I called Taylor Made last week inquiring about a new vinyl and they told me that I needed a part number for the windshield. They told me it was under the vinyl, if not, call Rinker and try and get the part number from them via the HIN and build sheet. While at the boat this past weekend, I pealed the vinyl back and about 18" in, there was the part number. I called Taylor Made back this morning and they still had the build sheet for the windshield on file and I was able to order the correct vinyl in a length that is more than what I need so I can cut it long. They are going to ship it out sometime this week. They had really good customer service. For my boat the part number is 41100024.

Yes, they told me 23'. I had some extra which was good. I cut the cover long and tucked it under the ends. Like I stated above, I rebeded each screw with a squirt of 3M4000UV.

On the sides towards the arch.

Believe the number also gives them the length as well as the profile. They said I needed 22 feet and with overlap, they were right on.

I’ll give them a call tomorrow and get the seal on order.
I did find that my port windscreen screw center most one was stripped like @aero3113. Are the screws basically a wood screw pointed style? I didn't bother pulling the old one out yet.
