Annddd......it's official. I am an idiot. I have to learn to not get excited and buy stuff before I confirm it will work. And beer may, or may not, have been involved.
The new rode and chain is obviously bigger than what I had. I'll work on the exchange today. Only silver lining (somewhat) is the proper rode and chain is less expensive and a little cheaper to ship. But the whole exercise will end up costing me about $100 out of pocket for the extra shipping. There goes the disco ball for the cabin!

Well, it happens!  At least it's not keeping you from boating right now! :)

    Or mirrored ceiling!
The retailer was very cool about it. They went ahead and ordered the right one in for me just based on my email, before I even placed the new order. Ships out tomorrow. I asked if I needed a return authorization and they just laughed. Just send it back and we'll give you the credit. Big shout out to Poco Marine in Port Coquitlam (Vancouver area) B.C. for any west coasters on here. Prices are good enough that they can ship right across the country and still be better than most of the Ontario based outfits.
