Agree!! This is how I found mine when I first bought the boat!!

Well, I guess this explains what happened to the faucet! Will make it a priority to get a screen for it. Have NEVER opened this thing, so the previous owner must have removed it. Great.

As a follow up to replacing the really good faucet from the original post:

It did NOT come with the adapters in the listing (+12 bucks, I did write the company telling them they owe me for it, figured they owe me that for hitting 2 different hardware stores and about an hour on google). 

The adapter needed is this part, both male ends:



in order to fit into the stock lines:


Either way the end result is awesome. For a while the thought of needing a new pump or higher pressure pump was on my mind. However that thought is gone now. Plenty of water flow and nice pressure!



10 dollar sink strainer from amazon going in next weekend.

Got a new strainer in.. now need a new sink! (stains/scratches)..

Try a product called Bar Keepers Friend. Won't remove scratches obviously but will shine up that stainless steel like new. If you do manage to find a sink it ain't gonna be cheap.

I agree Bar Keepers friend and or flitz.  I usually use bar keepers friend then follow up with flitz.  It is absolutely amazing how much it will shine!

Not sure what a new sink would cost but with a bit of effort that sink could shine like new. Rotational buffer + Buffmagic and about 30 minutes

Nice work!  Can you post a link or details on the strainer?  Looks like a drop in replacement. Mine is also corroding.

You need something called plumbers putty as well, to put around the bottom of the sink to where it contacts the housing of the drain, the wide part.

I did my 360 today. Note that in my case, the old faucet was male 5/8” fittings and there were female connectors on fhe Pex. I had to remove the connectors and put straight 3/8” shutoffs on the Pex. I used Sharkbites due to the cut off pipes being blind to me behind the back of the sink cabinet back wall.
