New Rinker model coming in 2019? (Confirmed!)

Hey everyone.. long time, but I'm still here!

I don't want to start any rumors, but I heard some ramblings about a new model for 2019... something that would be new to Rinker. I don't want to say anything if I shouldn't, and I don't know if it is even true.  Anybody else heard anything?  Should I share what i heard?

.....I would love that - I would definitely be interested! I could mount our new Yami (carbon BLACK..... LOL) right on the swim platform.....another black hull. Keep it for a couple of years and  then see if Bry and Jess were interested? :-) Yes? Come on Kim!!!!

BTW If I were to purchase another new cruiser it would only be a RInker. I don't like what the other guys are doing with their set-ups and my Rinker cruisers (and boats) were all strong in bad weather and beautiful in good weather.

If it's our boat it's gotta be a Rinker! :-)

Rinkers are good boats but they arent made to be a true saltwater boat. I think they are more lake boats.

Agreed.  Any boat I got for saltwater would have a Carolina hull.

SO.. here's some of the info for the rumor mill then...  if it's not true, well.. I warned ya.

37 foot (not sure if that's LOA or just hull length
Powered by triple outboards (Verado 300s were mentioned)
Not a replacement for any current boat.  It will fill a new niche.. a trend that seems to be growing in boating that Rinker doesn't currently "play" in.

I heard that they were looking into making a cruiser with outboards. I am not sure if I would want that or not.

I have yet to see an outboard express cruiser that provides any real benefit compared to the proven I/O format.  Maybe Rinker will be the first.

Has to give you more room inside but I would opt for the diesel outboards my self lol

Maybe..  info came from actual Rinker rep, not a marina or dealer.  He was asking what my next boat would be (knowing I had my boat).  I explained what I was looking at and that Rinker doesn't have anything like it (crossover bowrider).  That started the convo.

The "rumored" boat is larger (and therefore probably more expensive) than I am looking for, but it's still exciting.  Maybe if successful, a version 5 feet shorter would be made in the future, with twins.

I was hoping someone else had heard something.. maybe not.  :-(

1. reason I would buy an Express cruiser with outboards is that you could raise them out of the water to keep them looking new and keep from rotting away from corrosion. 
2. Outboards Just seem like an easier format to service and or replace if need be.
Lower units, transom seals, bellows, etc...... not on an outboard

Besides that, I don't know enough about outboard performance to say yay or nay.

No way would I purchase a cruiser with outboards IMO. Not that outboards are bad, it's the wrong type of boat for them. Love outboards on aluminum boats, pontoons, tritoons,  center console's, small runabouts,  bass boats, ect.

I like the extra space down below but they are still gas hogs at WOT. Cruise speed was good 
Mpg but it's still an overpriced SeaRay

I know Al chimed in about this once not too long ago and was stress his concerns why he would not buy a cruiser or larger bow rider with outboards.  It made me rethink the whole thing about outboards and how they could be easier to maintain on a cruiser.

Seeing more and more big boats with outboards. A number here in Turks and Caicos. Axius seems to be finding its way onto most new twin configurations out drive and outboards.....particularly outboards.

I am very excited to see what comes of this!  I think this may bring some new people to the Rinker brand as well!
