WTB (2) 6.5" speakers

Since the Infinity 612M's are dc'd I'm looking for two matching marine speakers in the ~100W RMS range.

If someone has the 612m or 622m I'd much prefer them, so I can stay matching speakers.

@JoeStang - I assume you checked ebay?  Not how much they run new.  Seem pricey.

Yea, now that they are discontinued the 612 & 622 are stupid expensive. New they were only $70/pair, and I was able to get the 3 pairs I have now for $18 each pair plus shipping! Harmon Kardon had a blowout sale for employees, and I should've bought a bunch of them.

What I'm doing is adding two more to the "tower" (I have a bimini, so I'm attaching them to the upper corner), and then pointing them to the back of the boat for more sound when at anchor.

I'm going to put them in these enclosures, and then get a much better amplifier for the entire system.

I actually ended up with a great deal. Got these for $135 shipped, and they're in perfect shape. These pods are usually $100, so I got the speakers cheap!

I looked at the sound bars, but with my setup itd hurt headroom too much. I'm sure they sound great tho. 

I'm about to order amp soon, and as soon as the boat is out of storage start the upgrade. Music is a big part of my fun on the boat. Lol

Haha, I think I'll be set with 8 speakers and a great 12" sub. I've got 2 group 31 house batteries now, so it'll rock all day (and night) long.

My god can this winter go away now, I'm ready for a summer shandy and some tunes.

LOL!  Looks nice, but also looks way too high maintenance for me!  My daughter looks like that after she spends 2 hours getting make up on!   It drives me and the wife crazy!

Haha every dog has his day, this one lasted a snowmobile season with me being gone almost every weekend from Christmas to middle March. We'll see if she puts up with boating schedule. Lol

My wife was the one who came up with the idea of us getting a boat, and later a house on a canal.  To me that makes her a keeper.

I actually now remember running into joe going into lil moot.
i was at idle and he came in behind me and also dropped off plane.
i was waiting for a first timer friend to catch-up lol

I remember joe on his phone the entire time being all over the place. I was trying to avoid him and even had to yell and get on the horn few times.
once he got his cell and music figured out it was all good lmao
now I remember the boat and him. I thought it was one of the hideaway yacht boys in that new rinker lol
so at that time I was like what an a hole this guy is. Main reason I don’t frequent those party places.

And yes I couldn’t get back on plane because it gets shallow and one side is a sand bar leading into the bay.

You really sure it was me? There's a ton of 276s out there. If so, if I was on the phone it was doing the same as you, just trying to coordinate with friends. I don't tailgate or drive unsafely, but it's not a great area to come off plane when there's so much traffic around. I usually try to stay on plane until closer to the boats so I'm not idling around cross traffic. 

If I did something annoying my bad, but I'm almost always the guy having to watch out for all the idiots doing idiot things.
