Dinghy making it tough to plane

I like this lead weight idea.  My boat has no problem getting on plane with my 11' rib and 15hp 2 stroke being i have the 496s, but it does squat alot while under rest.  I haven't increased the height of my bottom paint so I am scrubbing that water line all the time.  I also have to be careful coming off plane with my wake. 
I'll have to find somewhere local where i can buy some lead weights.  Thanks BD.
