Here is my all time favourite, in fact probably the most popular mixed cocktail in Canada. Friends in the U.S. often mistakenly think it's just a variation of a Bloody Mary, but really it's not. No offence but I find a Bloody Mary thick, muddy and too much beef flavour in many cases. The main ingredient in the drink, Mott's Clamato juice, was not available in the US for many years, but the last decade or so we find it more and more in border states and many parts of Florida, especially areas that Canadian's tend to visit and snow bird in. A good pre-amble here: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/11/dining/drinks/caesar-cocktail-canada.html
Variations can include a dash of horse radish, dill pickle juice and hot sauce can be adjusted to change heat level. Mott's has recently come out with several different variations in a pre-mixed can that makes it especially easy when anchored. Not quite as good as fresh, but a 90% equivalent when poured over ice. The secret to this drink is the ice, lot's of it. Fill the glass. As it melts it helps create the special flavour that won't fill you up. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the classic "Caesar". (And if you say "Bloody Caesar we know you're not from Canada, or else you're a Canadian visiting the U.S. where we want to make sure we get the drink and not the salad. Yes, it has happened to me)
Rim a Tall Wide Mouth Glass with Celery salt or Mott’s Clamato Rimmer
I love that drink (Caesar) and have been making it for years with a slight variation: I use Mrs Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend to rim the glass, then a dill spear instead of a celery stalk with a couple of olives skewered to it. Try it, you'll like it!
Great suggestions @Glassguy54. In fact I quite often sub the pickles and olives since we tend to always have them in the fridge. I also play with the celery salt by adding or substituting Montreal Steak spice. I like the garlic and pepper and again always have it handy. Keep a container on the boat too for both drinks and BBQ.
Boat drinks I keep simple. Crack open a ice cold Coors Light, take two good drinks out of it, top it off with Clamato Juice. Done ~ BLOODY BEER
We call that a Redeye. Clamato? Must be Canadians nearby!
We might have a few Canadians wintering here in AZ with the mild southern weather! I live in northern AZ at 7100 ft elevation. Lots of snow here! I prefer Clamato over V8. Just a personal preference. My wife won't touch the stuff lol

1. Get a rocks glass. Pretend it's a martini glass.
2. Fill glass with ice. Pretend it's a martini shaker.
3. Add 2 ounces of gin. Pretend you're shaking it.
4. Add olives. Pretend it's a martini.

2 oz bourbon ( makers or woodland reserve )
.75 oz lemon juice
.75 oz simple syrup
1 ounce orange juice
top off with a good red wine.
Maybe not an ideal boat drink..but the best drink I've ever had. I love going to Cooper's just for it.
