    I think Zaverin said it all.....Ford employee discount is pretty strong- grand behind invoice...but the X plan which a lot of the companies get is right at invoice..not a bad deal and least it is a fixed price. They are all made by man and prone to failure, heck it's designed in there right? Looking forward to the new Ranger at the end of the year.

    I love my ‘17 F-350 Lariat diesel. Replaced my ‘02 F-350. Oh yes: Ford A-Plan helps too! lol

    What is the A-plan? I get the X plan, but my local dealer beats it.

    If you compare a Tesla to that truck that @zaverin1 drives, which would be more fun on a race track?  Oh, wait.  The Tesla goes into limp mode after 3-4 minutes of spirited driving.

    We (GM) don't have names like that.  It's just employee pricing.  Our equivalent to X-plan is "Friends and Family".

    It’s not to often that I knock GM, but you are absolutely right about the 2019 Silverado. It is just outright ugly which really disappoints me because I was getting close to wanting to get a new truck. I guess they did me a favor because now I don’t want one. 
    The new MultiPro tailgate is neat but I think it's only available on GMC.  Haven't seen a 2019 Silverado in the parking lot yet.  Have to keep an eye out for one.

    Steve, friend has a Tesla. IMO a piece of junk - looks like a cheap Japanese car from a decade ago and can't go any distance without having to wait in line for a charge, friggin' useless. Musk should stick with Space-X.

    model s is one of the most advanced car on the market.
    i have driven one myself and don’t know here you get the bad mileage comment or cheap Japanese design.
    google model s or x and look at the pictures 
    those vehicles are bad a$$.

    I've sold two boats.  Each time was a heartbreaker.

    I'm not sure either of my first two boats were heartbreakers, since I was two boat owners for each of them (although it was for only a couple weeks each).  But, that 310 Rinker sure had a lot of lovin' and hey, it was my first Rinker!  & well, I sure learned a lot on that first boat!  It reminds me every time I see somebody's first comment on here that hey, there is no comment that is stupid.

    There are government installed charging stations for those worthless Tesla's in almost every city.  I can count at least 8 locations that have NEVER been used.  Technology isn't ready to be a "real" vehicle just yet.  
    I'll stick to my F350 King Ranch Diesel, it yanks any boat like it's not even there  B)

    Selling the first boat - Bayliner - to get into the Rinker wasn't a heart breaker - look what I was getting! The lack of care by the new owner was the heartbreaker, the 2 PO's before me of this 1990 265 took great care as did we, no one believed she was 23 years old at the time, all white (and real white) with original unfaded seating with blue and red panels and beading and not a mark or slit. But a year later she was much older after lack of regular washing and being left out in the winter with the bimini up that caved in from the snow.

    As I told the admiral, not ours anymore to care but very shameful.
