Go with the ribs! :)  I'm doing the traditional turkey as well.  We really enjoy it.  But, we'll have Jerk Chicken in Jamaica a week after the new year :) ….oh, it'll be beachside :)  (had to rub in the warmth stuff that Ras gets us on all winter)

Will be mid 60s here today and i think tomorrow.    Feels like a good day to toss some oysters on a grill and drink a few cold ones.

Since the family is usually "turkied out" by Christmas we do Italian food. This year it's manicotti.

Well, those that have boats.  But you can watch them go by on the canal. :)

For less than 800 bucks you can have a boat dropped off to your canal for 3 days.

Deep-fried turkey.  With a side order of thinset mortar dust, because that's how everything will taste to me after I spent the whole day today laying tile over at the "project house!"

    Happy holidays everybody!

Merry Christmas. I look at this as a half way point. The boat has been in hibernation for 3 months now and 3 mount till the cover comes off. (know its really only been 2 and 4 togo but let me have this moment)🎄🎄🎁🎁

No doubt.  It's like going to the gym for eight hours, except every day is Leg Day.  I don't know how my father-in-law did it for 40+ years.

Edit:  he did it for 51 years.  Man Of Steel.

I see the winter solstice as the point that boating season is on its way back.
