Shrinkage!

Found replacement for the windshield screw cover on my 2003 310 that had shrunk with age and was allowing water in by the screws and thought I would share. https://www.steelerubber.com/insert-trim-70-3813-340 
Also available on Amazon from this company. Reasonable price at $3.49 a foot. Fit well. We will see how it holds up.

    That side profile on the website looks different than my cover in the 280. Did that match the one that came off?

    I ordered from GLS without measuring as the website specifically said it was for my boat but it was a couple feet short 🤬

    @Aqua_Aura fit my windshield perfectly. Took careful measurements.  Emailed company and they sent me a 1” sample

    I ordered direct from Taylor Made for $1.17/ft plus a $10 handling charge. Any reason why you went aftermarket?

    When I contacted them online they said they said they no longer made or stocked it. Maybe should have called them directly. Was yours the same size @YYZRC ?

    Mine was for sure a different profile than what you purchased, but not sure of the exact size.  Looks good anyway!

    I also ordered mine from TaylorMade. When I did the replacement, I resealed the windshield screws.

    @Handymans342 I resealed the screws in the spring along with the port windows and the hull joint chasing a mid-bilge leak which I’m happy to say is fixed

    Yes I did. Every screw on the deck I could and re-bedded the hatches as well. Tightened all the rail hardware. Nothing bugs me more then water in my boat.

    Another thing to check is the wiper arm mounts. On my 342 there was a rubber washer under a metal cup secured by a large nut.

    Yup. Got that too. Think I used butyl tape for that
