Are you wanting it for looks or to mount accessories to? Take a look at this thread. Keep in mind if there are any low bridges in your area also.

Be sure to mount it in the correct position. A friend of mine has a 270 that had an arch added at a later date and whoever mounted it did so about 6 inches too low. They had to modify their canvas to fit with the arch. The canvas should go under the arch with about 2 inches to spare.

Be sure that it’s the correct shade of white as well...

@Jmifsud obviously by my very clever name, I have the same boat!  Welcome to the forum.

When I first purchased the boat I wanted an arch as well and wished I searched for a boat with one.  I liked the look and having lights facing down to the cockpit and the anchor light attached is a plus.  But after investigation and cost it didn't seem worth it to me.  I also read some installations gone wrong as stated above and colors not matching up.

Any other 270 questions feel free to ask!  I am going on my 7th season with the boat and love it.  Where do you boat?

Are you thinking stainless steel tube arch? Probably easier to find than the factory aluminum arch.

Last time I spotted a 270 arch for sale it was priced around $5000 plus shipping if I remember correctly. Pretty scarce.

Hello everyone looks like finding this arch is tougher than I thought  then the cost?? That said we  are going to focus more on the other 2 items, bow thruster and windlass. If anyone can help there it would be greatly appreciated. Would my boat be pre-wired for the windlass?

It should be prewired for the windlass. Open up the anchor locker and look to the starboard side. You might need to use your phone to take some pictures in areas where you can't see.
