Sealing screws

in Rinker Express Cruisers Forum
I recently removed, cleaned and am putting back my thru-hull Corsa Captains call exhaust port cover.  When I put the screws back in I assume I should put some type of marine sealant on these since it is close to and will be below the water line at times ?  What should I use ?

    These are good to use on screws that I need to unscrew at times ?  Not a loctite type ?

    4200 or even Lifecaulk sealant

    Read again dumbo. The exhaust tip rarely ever goes underwater. 4200!!

    Sorry to start a commotion here lads.  Just bought the boat and assume that the exhaust will see quite a bit of water so was looking for something that is good for putting on screws but still need to remove the screws if I need to replace the exhaust cover.  Looking at research on the 4200 vs the 5200 it looks like they both will work however 4200 may be the better option since 3M states you can remove unlike the 5200.

    @Handymans342 I guess you really cant read " since it is close to and will be below the water line at times ?" That is a direct quote. See it "below the water line at times ?" What is it about BELOW THE WATER LINE you don't understand? Anything that goes below the water line for any amount of time should be 5200. @kennydalglish your not starting anything between me and Handy. Simply put he thinks he knows everything....lol Handy is really a great guy and we go at it on everything but all in fun......

    This is what I use below the waterline. My trim tabs and transom lights all have a crap load of this under them as of a few weeks ago:
