Tight shift cable fix

I was having problems finding due to the tight cables. I took the shifter apart and took off the cable. I found a clear plastic tube to tightly go over the the end of cable. I then filled tube with oil and forced it in with a compressor. It came out the other end by the engine. Success. Now I need to adjust the cable that is stretched from all the friction.

    @toolmaker312 what size hose and what type of oil did you use?

    I am not sure what the size was sorry. I bought a few different sizes at home depot. I think the Id was around a 1/4 inch. It was flexible enough to go on tightly around the flat end of the cable. I used the light oil that came in a pre packaged spout. I had one cable that was tight, and when I finished I decided to do the other side because the bad side ended up better than the good side. I am going out there next weekend if this isn't specific enough.
