Imbedded Mold In Gel Coat

Has anyone ever had this? First time for me. At the bow mold seems to be imbedded in the gel coat. I washed it and it didn’t do much. I used hull cleaner and it barely did anything. It must be from where the shrink wrap was up against and was getting wet. Maybe a few days in the sun will take care of it?

    Rubbing compound will get it. I have the same every year in places.

    Could even lightly wet sand if the compound doesn't work first.
    Then polish.

    I looked at it today and I think it lightened up a little bit.

    Agreed. Compound ... if that doesn't work, wet sand with a very find sand paper, then polish, and wax.

    Collinite cleaner wax took it off with a nice coat of wax on top.

    I have a product I use for heavy mold stains.  It's cheap but it will eat or discolor wax.   Store brand bathroom cleaner with bleach.   Try to use it out of direct sunlight, spray it on and scrub it in with brush. Let it soak as long as possible before it starts to dry so small areas at a time.  Apply a little water, srub a little more depending on how bad it is and rinse off .   Reapply if needed.  

    Also works great on the headliner my monkey fur stains. Spray on them work in with a sacrificial towel.  Shop vac dry.  

    Walmart, dollar general, family dollar etc.
