Been a while since updates. Got one Whaler floating last week, one more to go.
On to the big boat- got fresh water system unwinterized and 1/2 way through new risers/elbows. Hull is waxed and just did bottom paint today. Getting closer.
Been busy car shopping for the Mrs (picked up a GLS450) and next week have a festival to get ready for so time is a bit scarce

Driving down to the boat today I remembered that there were a couple of clamps I forgot to check. First one kept skipping and wouldn’t tighten, second one the head came off as soon as I tried to tighten it! Glad I remembered these!! Didn’t have spares the size I needed so had to run to the hardware store and pick up a few.
Got the new upholstery in the flybridge. The flooring is supposed to be done in a couple weeks which will tie everything together.
Also if you notice, the boat is in a boathouse. Our friend sold their boat and I am hoping I can buy this from him but for now we are just using it while he's boat less.
I guess I didn't delete the photos, this is what it was before. Really worn out foam and discolored white vinyl. New stuff has 3" and 4" foam under the thigh area.
I added an ugly cat to my radar dome today. Owls ain’t cutting it anymore. Seagulls are getting smarter around here. I’m tired of daily shitzkriegs on my canvas.
This is the second product I used which is a window polish you apply like your buffing a boat. This works really well for etched in water spots which is what I have on my side windows. You use a polishing pad specifically for this process, it looks like white felt.
First overnighter of the season. Had to anchor because somehow the mooring ball that was there last week is no longer on the mooring. I did find the chain and the old swivel was gone but last fall I put a new one in parallel with the old that was still there so not sure how the shackle would have come undone. Replaced the upper chain and put a temporary float on it. All went well except for stubbing a toe on the dock. Will have to stay away from the dock longer next time.

When I installed it I said to myself I should polish it. I convinced myself not to do it! ⚓️

Good job on the upholstery. Modernized the boat. Assume it was all white beforehand??

The first one is for mild water spots that aren't etched in. It's a gel you put on and leave for about 15-30 minutes then wash and clean the window.
