I do both, probably overkill. Purge with air. Then send pink stuff through the lines with the water heater disconnected. Remove the hose from the water tank so no pink stuff goes in there either.
I blow all the lines clear a second time out after I get pink from all the faucets
Over the last several years I've noticed just about any weather source is predicting the worst. If it doesn't happen people think.."they screwed up" but they're happy and relieved it wasn't as bad as thought. But if they under predict and people get walloped then the poop hits the deck....
Since I moved to the flat land in the Midwest, the one station does pretty well with predicting the weather. They predicted 3-6 inches for our area and we got 5. They also do a decent job with severe weather including tornado warnings. The doom and gloom forecasters just suck.
You now have a land yacht? I pivoted that way as well. I have a 2022 Cherokee 294GEBG Black Label. We have had it for 2 summers now. We enjoy it. Still miss boating.

Hi Greg Yes. We have a 2018 Cherokee 39 RL that is permanently located at a campground not far from our house. House is going up for sale this year with the plan being to stay in the campground for the summer and go away for the winter. Big destination trailer, I couldn't pull it even if I wanted to. 43 ft overall and 12,500 lbs. I occasionally get the boating urge....then I look at my happy little bank account and the urge to throw money overboard goes away....😆
I waited until about 10am to leave for the shop. Secondary roads were sketchy. Not bad enough to keep 4wd engaged but bad enough where I had to fish tail up a few hills. Once I hit main roads they were plowed and salted well.
We just got ice and sleet, my son and I had our game cancelled for the night but we were able to go out on the street and work on some passing drills for an hour or so yesterday. Wasn't cold enough to allow us to use our skates
It was a balmy 12* here in sunny Arizona this morning. We got a couple inches of the fluffy stuff a couple days ago. Nothing to brag about. The Colorado River is going to be hurting big time if we don't start getting some big time snow in the Colorado western range!
Nah.....just a few leaves from the cold front that came through...we are going to be 11 degrees windchil Sunday am so the fun will be over.
If you end up with heavy wind storms and any of those football sized air plants hit the ground falling out of one of the trees let me know if you wanna make some money off of it!
Usually spend a night in the city for the NY boat show, but missed it this year because of the storm. Got a little over a foot here. Still had the kubota 4240 with front end loader at the house from removing some trees so easily cleaned the driveway as well as cleaned out a few neighbors. Kids wanted a big snow pile so now have a roughly 8’ sledding hill in the yard and a second pile coming off the elevated platform of their fort.
Put the plow on the F350 and did the in-laws place as well as a few others
Rinker sold but still have other boats Eastern LI, NY
