Reviews on other forms list the SEI warranty as pretty **** good.  I'm not sure if they still have a no questions asked warranty.  It used to be a drive they'd take back if you break the foot on a rock,  minus your shipping charges
I don't know about that warranty- I bought two trim rams and could not get them to stop leaking. I'm not sure how the vonnection is machined but when you look at the bottom of the mating surface to the hose, it was a tad off. I ordered two more thinking I somehow screwed them up and cc continued to follow up with them but never got an answer...

I don't have first hand experience, I read some reviews on the hull truth that were very favorable. Those guys are quick to put down anything.

Does SEI make a B3 replacement? I don’t see one on their website.
    They have bravo iii:

That’s good that they have one. I clearly missed it. I would for sure consider it for the price.

Quick updates and new question: We plugged the hole/s, one with this pipe plug and a smaller one with a wine cork. see photo. My question is about the 3rd hole below the pipe plug. This looks like a water cooling entry. Anyone know if this is correct and do I need to plug this too before dropping it in the water to tow to marina?

Can't believe they stole if off the boat on the lift. Those drives are not light. Can you see the bottom below the water? Sure they didn't drop drive once they got it off?

The bottom one is the exhaust. It has risers on the inside of the boat, so you will be good.

Thanks Cableguy! Capt. Kevin, we thought the same thing. These guys were in a dingy at best. It is 12 feet deep and brackish water. We have used fishing magnets and only caught an old hammer. My son is certified scuba instructor so we will dive for it in a couple of weeks.

With enough meth a 150 lbs guy could muscle one of those drives solo.

Like the dumb a$$ that stole by dash  - 2006 mind you. Faria gauges but rather than undo the dash, pull the panel and UNPLUG the dang thing he just cut the wires..crackhead. what could it have been worth " on the street", 50 bucks?

I'd love to start keeping my boat at a covered slip.  Trailer launching and keeping it stored in the driveway saves me 3800 a year.

Which is about the price for a 7 day VRBO deep canal home rental with private pool.

Knock on wood my biggest loss to thieves when I kept the sailboat on a mooring was an inflatable raft, box of Debbie cakes and someone crapped in the porta potty without flushing.  None of the liquor bottles were touched so I figured it had to be kids.

Saw my soft bottom raft in the basement of one of the neighborhood houses when they left their garage door open one evening while walking my dogs.  Walked in and took it back.  Didn't find any of my bungee straps I used to keep it strapped down to the deck.

Had a mooring break after a bad wind storm one Thanksgiving weekend.   Went down to check on the boat as I did every weekend back then and it was gone. Panicked, I launched the parents jet ski and found it a few coves down where someone tied it off to some roots.   I did keep a large chain and pad lock around the outboard where they'd have to either cut the chain or outboard bracket off to steal the 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke.

I really like having the boat just a few steps from my back porch.

Sorry for the late reply. I originally had a 22" lens on my 350 MAG with a 2.20:1 ratio, the old version with 3-3 blades. Since we're always traveling with a heavy load, I switched to a 21" lens with 4-3 blades from Solas last year. Regards, Peter

Amazing that you're able to use it after it spent 3 months underwater.

Too bad there's no video of the moment that drive went to the bottom. "Shut yer piehole, we're not gonna tip over.  Here, hold my beer ..."

So a lot happens in a couple months - so much for Delta time. The sheriffs and Marine Patrol have known for some time that all of the thefts that were occurring around the little island (population 2,200) were coming from the pirates who took over this marina. Owner fell ill years ago and abandoned the property. About 20 slips had boats left behind or forgotten over the years and these white trash criminals took over. They had their own leadership and laws. Really nothing less than organize crime but very amateur at best. Gun toting felons and poor excuses of humans. So fast forward, 2 shootings in 2 months resulting in 2 dead a$$ pirates. Well now that got the attention of the legal folks who let this go on way too long. As of today all slips are empty, all boats towed away and destroyed. All RVs towed away and destroyed. There is peace on this side of the island for now, but like rats on a sinking ship, they scattered to other parts of the island. Now there are daily reports of thefts across the island on land and property cameras are capturing these same low level absolute losers in their kayaks looking for new targets for their regular rounds of thievery. While some of us now seem to have peace the remaining population has no idea what is coming their way. My boat is now long gone, placed it dry storage and we take it out whenever we find the time. But I did beat these losers as they were amateurs who showed me where the gold was kept.

Time for an update! I ended up buying the SEI 2.20 outdrive and Sola props. Then last Thursday my dock mates reported some thugs on my dock with magnets "looking for lost keys". They were forced to leave the dock but tipped us off to the fact that they were looking for the outdrive in 13 feet of water. YES - they dropped the outdrive into the water when removing it from my boat. 3 months later they returned in broad daylight to look for it. That night I went to the dock and found a rope tied off to my dock. We traced the rope under a few slips to the outdrive. We could pull it up enough to see it was in fact our outdrive. Since we couldn't pull it out of the water we moved the rope to a new spot well hidden from the pirates. Then we tied a new rope with a fringed end to where they had tied off before. We left the dock at 2:30am planning to come back in the morning with more muscle. First thing this next day we towed the boat to the marina, the pipe plug in the outdrive hole worked perfectly. That night between 2:30am and 8:00am they returned to find the cut off rope. There was a lot of wet docks so we can see they went swimming for the outdrive. They left empty handed. We pulled the outdrive from the water and took it to the marina. The drive was still sealed with no water intrusion. We cleaned it and installed it on the boat. All works perfectly. We returned the SEI outdrive for a 10% restocking fee, and the Props were returned for the cost of shipping. We are now storing the boat at the Marina to avoid another event like this. I appreciate everyone's support and advice throughout this ordeal. Now we have good photos of the pirates, We know the exact marina where they are living and the sheriff and water patrol are in process of evicting them and confiscating the boats and RVs they have been living on. There pirates have been robbing the docks and boats around Bethel Island for many years. Soon enough they will move down the river to continue doing what they do.
F that, arrest them for their crimes!!

    This is in California??

Yes, California. The laws are all in favor of the criminals and Police are afraid of the pirates.
