  • Thank you to everyone for your help with this problem, we're to run the boat tomorrow on the South River I'll see if that solves the issue.  Paul
  • Hi I ran the boat on Saturday but no change in the air marine system.  I don't think the pump is coming on though the fan does.  Is running water through the hose at the water filter another way to see if the pump will unlock ?  Paul
  • Thank you everyone for your comments after resetting the P1 to 0 the system appears to be working just fine.
  • This being my first year with my boat I call an a/c tech out to the boat to perform a service on the a/c. Best $120 I spent, they cleaned the unit primed and set the thermostat to auto. I got on the boat last night and it was toasty warm inside the cabin. Very cold and wet outside.

With the valve open for seawater, unscrew the strainer housing until the water flows into it, it will fill almost all the way up.  Retighten the strainer bowl and start the A/C.  It will pull it from there.  I do this every time I clean out my strainer and works fine, just a few water drops to wipe up afterwards.

X2 on @Black_Diamond process. If it still won't pump water then disconnect the output on the electric water pump until water is coming through and then reattach and tighten hose clamp. Have had an air pocket that won't give until I do that. That should get the Ac primed.
