If you bend them over they might hurt your fuel economy, I would just cut them flush and be done with it! LoL!!! Where did you find that pic???

If they are not SS then they'll rust and drop off soon so I wouldn't worry about it. :D

Wow!  That is a lot of screws.  You'd think after one or two, they'd wonder.  Of course you'd think they would wonder before screwing one in!

Is that why you are getting a little moisture in the cabin?

I knew a guy that was repairing his stringers and screwed his boat to the trailer bunks, no joke.  He couldn't figure out why it would not back off the trailer.

You know if he used a nylon washer and some 5200 as he screwed them down, what's the problem?  B)

My first boat, a 60's era 14 foot chrysler, had a rotted floor. I took a circular saw and cut out the old floor, leaving an inch in the side to screw the new floor to. As soon as I launched it, it began sinking. I vever checked the depth of the blade, and cut two slices right through the hull in the front about 24 inches long. And that's how I learned to do fiberglass repairs!!

two t hings: first, had seen this post and skipped over it but that is some funny stuff. Second, one of the reasons this is such a great forum is we can ask the stupid questions and admit the stupid mistakes and all have a laugh! That one I hope for the owners sake is a photo shop!

I thought this would be a good laugh. I was trying to free up memory on my 4s (lol) and was chopping out some pics and found this gem.

... I wonder how sick to his stomach he was when he got out of the boat and saw this, lol.
