Small buffer

I have a large electric buffer for doing the large surfaces but I would like to find a smaller one for tighter areas. Are orbital polishers just a vibrate basically? I would like to get air powered but do not have a compressor...

The disappointment is the small buffer- the backing plate flew apart...so the description it an orbital buffer. Which means what, it goes around in a circle? And then there is a random orbital.. what's the difference? I still have around the helm do I need to get it replaced.
The tool is actually a "random orbital". I checked mine, and the front of the box says "orbital" and the back says "random orbital". So inconsistent labelling. So random orbital is spinning around AND vibrating. Not as aggressive as full orbital, but less likely to get yourself in trouble.
