I can make my boat lean WAY over if one tab is fully deployed and the other none at all. Not dangerously so on flat water, but you wouldnt want to do that in the wrong direction if you have good size waves on the beam.

The further outboard the tabs are, the better they work (from what I've read), and just the basic understanding of engineering would go along those lines also.

Does the 260 have tab "pockets" like mine?

This is the best picture I have of the stern before modification.  I will take some pictures after I pull the boat later this summer for it's mid season bottom cleaning.  I hope this answers you question about the trim tabs

I have had the boat out many times now and the performance is great.  Major improvements.  I am satisfied with the performance and the great service from my dealer and Randy Rinker.  I love the boat.
