As soon as I finished, less than one second later from pulling the top paper off, a gust of wind blew and there must’ve been water on top of my cover. It went all over me and the new name, I feel it was a sign and the boat was blessed.

We ought our boat and it was nameless, all of our issues we had initially we decided it definitely needed a name. Ever since we named it the boat seems to be a little happier.

I finished removing the top stripe today.

All done, took about 3 hours to do both bottom stripes, very happ with how it looks!

Nice job on stripes. Looks so much cleaner. Will be doing mine this spring. As usual great post with plenty of helpful tips from @aero3113

Thank you @Pat310 , if you use the same removal tool as I did, 2 wheels just barely finished the job.

Hmm. My top stripe is getting sun beat and I have thought of removing it. Don't know if I'd do the bottom stripe though. No bottom paint on mine and the stripe adds some contrast. Nice job on yours though.

I agree, the decal was hiding the molded hull line that’s there.
