    Flyers are hot. Pens have injury issues and the Caps are trying to wake up

    Pens lack of a top 4 D and rolling the top 2 lines for more than half the game since Dec. Happened.  The All-Star break is the only reason they made it this long.  Even 8 years ago this kind of play would have worn out their core group. 

    Rutherford didn't trade for a D man gambling that dumo and Marino would be back soon. They just started skating this week.  

    Not all the losses are due to being outplayed, they lost a few that could have been a win if the post wasn't there.  Bad puck luck doesn't help the teams momentum.

    The Flyers looked sharp thumping the Caps last night.  Plus, the Caps spent half the night with a guy or two in the sin bin.

    Really Handy really well let's go back to 1970 and look at their record then. What the heII does 2 years ago have anything to do what's going on now. Not for nothing if it wasn't for such a slow start the B's would have won last night..... BTW Cap's blow!!!

    Oh, that.  Well, I suppose you have a point there!  But didn't those same Bruins lose twice to the lowly Red Wings?  Sorta like the Caps lost to the Sabres tonight?
