@Handymans342 , looks like I figured out the correct username and password. I can now connect to a hot spot on my phone at the house. When I can get back to the boat hopefully I’ll be able to get the router to connect.

I hope that’s it but recall I said some networks don’t allow rogue AP’s to connect and your router may look like an AP.

@icoultha , I think I realized what I’m doing wrong. There’s a spot to clone my phones MAC address. I think I need to do this so my service provider knows it’s my phone trying to connect and not a rogue AP. Does that sound correct?
For a nominal fee, they can help you buy and configure a DIY system. Or they can sell you a system that is ready to install. (I have not used them and have no financial interest.)

That may work @aero3113 but if the AP interrogates yours it may tell it it’s an AP and still block it. When I need to work with Spectrum Nd they get their modem back up they can see my Netgear AP connected and the model.
I spoke to my cable provider today. They said I need to add the MAC address of the repeater to the list of allowed devices under my account on their website.
Success!!!!! I spoke to TechnoRV, the company I bought from on Amazon. They were so friendly and willing to help. She had me reset everything and start over. Somehow some settings were changed without me realizing. Once the reset was done and the password was in the correct field, I connected! I had my fire stick hooked up and was streaming video and on the Internet on my phone and iPad. No issues at all, VERY happy. I moved the outlet behind the microwave so the plug was closer to the TV also. Now I don’t have to use the “V “ birth plug for the fire stick. The last pic has a red box where the plug used to be. I need to get a plug adapter and I should be able to plug in the coffee maker in that outlet also.
Here you go @Handymans342 , it’s going to depend on what hot spot I connect to so will vary. Remember these are hotspots for a local cable provider so it’s used by a lot of people.
Now that I have this all figured out, does anyone have a Ring Stick up camera? I want to use one for security on the boat when we’re not on it and to watch over our daughters when there sleeping in the cabin. I have a Ring doorbell and 3 Ring flood lights. Just looking for some feedback if I should get a battery operated one, hardwired with a battery backup, I can get one that’s power over Ethernet also.
Used the Alferd camera app. On a small tablet sends my phone an alert and records for a bit if the carma picks up motion but you can stream with a touch of a botton. Some one on the forum posted it a while ago.
