Oh also here is a pilot boat dropping off the Columbia River Pilot to take the ship up the river. This is done at speed and they don't slow down.

Today is our Opening Day and Commodores Ball. This year it's all about me 😂. It's only 7 am here so I'll get some better photos today from our parade of boats.

Big day today.  I get to walk my daughter down the wedding aisle.  She’s getting married today.  Pics are the venue during rehearsal yesterday

The weather decided not to rain and the sun was out. This is before we went out on the boat to anchor while everyone paraded around our boat.

You guys are all awesome!  I gotta say, yesterday was a day that I’ll never forget and couldn’t have been better!!  Our daughter sure has grown up.  Walking her down that aisle is something every father dreams of their little girl!  I’ll stick with the topic and post another picture from rehearsal day showing a selfie of my daughter and I and the long walk down the steps to the arbor on the water.  For a girl that never knew anything except boating and water, it’s only appropriate for this type of setting, When I actually have a picture from the day…yes, I did not carry my phone and only soaked up every single moment…I will post it here.

Got use of it all during both the wedding day and the bridal shower.  All her flowers that were in those vases were grown locally by the Amish.  I’ll post a pic, lol, when I have it.

Unless you're rum running at night I can't even begin to think why someone would want an all black boat. Even the radar, spotlight, and antennae are black. And it is as dark as it is in the pic..
