    Have a leak behind the helm and this trashed the head board thing so took it home and rebuilt it couple of times almost gave up thinking it was a lost cause but powered though. I think it came out pretty good. Now back to the motor.the 1st pic was how it started didn't look so bad until I started taking it apart.

    Drain behind the helm, someone gouped it up with some crap like plumbers putty on the outside of it, thinking it is like a thru hull fitting remove and reseal. Have not fixed that yet, need to wait for some warmer weather. Will be very hard reach.

    The second pic it is in the top left corner. White corrugated hose and it about 18 inches to a thru hull over board.

    OK so looking at the cabinets, the badness was on the left?   Looks like you were able to save most of the laminate, which is fortunate.  Or did you save all of the laminate?

    Just had to relaminate the top of the bottom cabinet the rest was saved. For the white I used a vinyl wrap as it was inside the compartments.

    Yeah that cabinet isn't gonna be much good in a boat that doesn't move.

    #2 or port motor coming along nicely. Looks like I'm staying on schedule couple weeks and I will paint the bilge. Shooting for 1st week in April to install motors then a couple weeks to get them all set up. Lauch some time in may.

    VP does some things that just make sense like the remote oil filter that is easy to get at and not upside down. Their water pump is in a place that makes sense as well. Motors are looking good!

    How are you painting the engine blocks?  Brush, rattle-can? 

    My boat is looking at these pictures and saying "what am I, chopped liver?"

    Rather can for the most part and touch up with brush. Wire wheel for all bolts and threads so all goes back together easy.

    Yes there is room, there is also a grab rail on top of the back seat behind the canvas. Steps going up from the platform are a little sketchy but you can have hand on some part as you head up. Took it mystic for lunch yesterday.

    Think it may need to be repropped get more top end. 5mph to 25mph in 4 seconds with 3/4 fuel full water and 5 adults. Only brought it up to 4400rpm 36mph, the admiral said don't hurt it. Lol. 2.2 hours on her now. Props are 19x 18 pitch.
