Fuel pump not having any power

I have a 2002 mercruiser 5.7 350 fuel pump on the starboard not turning on when I turn the key on. (not priming). I have replaced the fuel pump already and swapped the relays fro the port engine.  It does not appear to be getting power the the key is on.  

When I turn the key on on the port engine you can hear the fuel pump turn on for about 3 seconds

Any advice is appreciated.  Even better, if someone has a wiring digram I might be able to figure it out.

Does the engine crank? If not, there’s a small 10 amp fuse that’s mounted on top of the engine near the port riser. Check that.

I’m going with the fuse as well. I was delivering a boat when one engine cut out. Quick diagnosis was fuel pump quit because no pump buzz when ignition on. Limped to a harbor, tied up and confirmed no pump. Next day in daylight continued delivery on one engine and helped owner swap a fuel pump, but still no buzz. Fuse was good but turned out the fuse holder connection was too wide for good contact. Wish I thought of that at the time instead of the slow one engine ride

Check the fuse like they mention before, it just happen to me last month and the fuse holder was burn.

I appreciate the feed back.  I will go out to the boat on Monday and see if it is the fuse.  Hopefully it is!  Thank you again and be safe!

Same thing happened to me, replaced the fuse about a year ago and nothing has happened since.

Hmmm.how do you check it? Might be my problem too.

It's just a cap... there's three fuses in there.. get in there and pull it apart, you'll see

If you don't drop at least one fuse in the bilge and have to fish it out from under the oil pan... you're not checking them properly

I did that this weekend...one starter bolt (they really get some momentum) and then the nut that the hot wires go on. But in my defense I had to put the starter on 2x..  don't ask.

@rasbury you should hide a spare somewhere on the boat.

@rasbury Not sure where you keep your boat. I am at a yacht club. I keep my keys right in the ignition. Never have to worry about forgetting them. I also keep spares in the blender compartment.......... Just say'n

If you really want to detour potential thieves hang a Bayliner sticker over the rinker emblems.    Stealing a Bayliner is like stealing from Ross, it's cheaper just to pay for it.

Well..I lost my spare, it is on the boat somewhere...I usually keep it in my truck but...

@J3ff I checked those fuses...they looked fine. It is not pulling fuel.  I'll see how much one is...I'm sure it does not cost more than a couple of hours of shop time...
