Spent the whole weekend gong through every nook and cranny, she was pretty filthy but she shines now and we have someone coming out this week to go over everything on her. Next week is the bottom job and a few repairs that need to be addressed and the we should be ready to take her out! I am going to sleep well tonight as I am exhausted.
X-ray is fine but you want your hull checked with a moisture meter - particularly near that leaking hatch. There are some pictures on this forum of a deck repair that may illustrate the point.
Thankfully it was a loose screw at the latch. Tightened it just before a nice storm hit and it stayed dry! (Hope the rest goes that easy)
The top hatches just have a cheap foam gasket to seal against the hull. Tightening the screws is at best a short term solution. You would serve yourself well to pull them and reseal with butyl tape.
Yes, starting in 2005 they changed the bumper storage to a large hatch with internal storage and a small seat. My 2006 is the same. The seat does not flip up but the cushion is snap on and off. There is a large opening for storage.

Hope it works out great. You'll love the 342. You have tons of help/advise on here too. Just ask.

I don't know if that was a special request or not bot there was no mention of it on the delivery sheet I found.
Must be an option cause my 05 has the bumper storage.
