At the end of the day around dusk, been on the water all day.  Cruising just above idle speed. Enjoying a tasty drink, sun starting to set, just you and your sweetie. Nav lights on, getting in position to watch the sunset. I like to slow it down.

I have seen the Rolling Stones in concert (when they were relevant), Cream on their Farewell tour, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Rod Stewart, Leon Russell, ZZ Top, Luther Allison, Traffic, Rodrigo Y Gabriela (x2), Willie & Lobo (x4) in Mexico, Alison Krauss and Union Station, BB King, Sheryl Crow, Cubanismo, and many others, but my musical tastes continue to evolve and I appreciate pure musical virtuosity over all the over wrought, over produced BS that passes as entertainment these days. Makes me wanna puke!!!!! Yes, I'm an old codger!

Side topic: I hate it when people steal from musicians.  My collection of recordings has over 10,000 songs, and I paid for every one of them.

Have an old high school friend that is a pretty good guitar player too. Kept in touch with him even after Buckcherry was big. Saw him at our class reunion in 2002 then at Crue Fest in Pittsburgh around 2007. Last I heard from him was when Velvet Revolver first came out. I hadn't heard of them yet but he emailed me to tell me he wrote a song on their first album. I emailed him back a few times after that but no response. Guess he got too busy for me...lol. They got a little too raunchy for my taste anyway.

See him at about the 2:00 mark here. Sorry, couldn't figure out how to embed the video.

Also, tried to find the cleanest version I could but still quite a bit of vulgarity.

It is illegal to have a boating playlist that doesn't include "I'm On a Boat" by The Lonely Island.

@randy56 - Yes, I never heard of them either until I started following SV/Delos on Youtube.  These guys are living the dream.  They have a 53 ft Amel Super Maramu ketch that they have been cruising for  the last few years.  Brian started out from Seattle and has crossed the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic oceans so far.  Their blog has some incredible video of the scuba diving they have done in remote locations. Here is a link if you are interested but I have to warn you this could be addictive on these cold winter days:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VrOKhlT3wk

@LaRea - I never heard of that one before.  I just checked them out on Youtube.   Way too many F-bombs for my playlist - most of the time my  grand kids (6 and 2 years old) are on the boat.  Thanks for the intro to Lonely Island.  I will have to check out more of their stuff on the web.

It's one of the best parody videos they did, but definitely NOT to be played in polite company!

Yes, I remember the night @LaRea played this on my boat!  My wife was shocked I knew all the words!  (it's not the song I play in front of the kids either :) )

@Dream_Inn - the best music moment of that night was Louis Armstrong "What a Wonderful World".  All four couples were dancing cheek-to-cheek for that one!

@rkinross - I probably should have warned you about the explicit lyrics.  The crudeness is where the funny is, but there are some people who think it's just plain offensive.

@LaRea, Ya i played the youtube, and my wife walked by my office, and overheard, What are you listing too?............... well, nice boat they were on though.
@rkinross Interesting, if money was no object, what an adventure......
