Flooring for a 2002 342 fv

hello everyone, does anyone have suggestions on where to get teak or carpet flooring at reasonable rates? For the outside of the boat new or used as long as it in good shape.

Used is difficult to come by because it's usually toast by the time anyone wants to get rid of it. For new carpet budget around $550 to $650. For Marine Weave budget around a Grand. For faux Teak, Plas-Dek etc budget around $2 G's depending on if you want to do the swim platform or not. Some of the guys on here that have done it will chime in I'm sure. You can start by checking out Matworks.com and Corinthian Marine Carpet. And, as always, that little search box at the top of the page is your greatest resource on the forum. There ain't been nothin' thought about on a Rinker that somebody in the past hasn't posted on!

I would highly recommend MarineMat as I did this on my 310 and very happy. Great company to work with, no dis http:// tributor close to me so I did the template myself. I got many samples from various companies and this came out on top. Others at my boatclub are looking at going this route also.

Might be your lucky day. Again.  I am replacing my carpet with Seadek this off season. My carpet is in excellent shape: grey backing that does not degrade and stick to the deck. Color is a grey with black piping. Done by snapincarpet. 

Make me an offer.

Pretty easy to see what Snapincarpet charges for new ones, should give you an idea for an offer.

@Black_Diamond, did you get the Sea Dek? I was looking to upgrade and wanted to see how you was liking it? Did you also do the swim platform? Let me know please.

@cls10105. Yup, whole cockpit and swim platform. 100% would do it again. Non-slip, soft to stand on, super easy to clean up too!

I used an authorized Seadek dealer.  They laid it out and installed. I’d have to dig up the info, but the whole thing was maybe $3k or so. 

I did the swim platform first. Got tired of slipping while retrieving the dinghy, plus safer for getting on/off.  I did the cockpit area maybe 2 years later.

I am hoping to get mine done this season but I didn’t want to spend 3k on it right now. But it does look good!

If you shop around you should be able to find it for much less these days. A guy on my dock had a local installer install marine mat for $1600 and it included the swim platform. Was a 30’ sea Ray.

I would do it in a minute for 1,600.

Not sure if the layout is the same, but Marine Mat has the pattern for the 2006 342 FV listed. Cockpit is $960 and swim platform is $320. With shipping you should still be right around $1600.

@Black_Diamond, hi sir do you have templates for your boat and swim platform. I know the 2003 is a match but not sure about the 2006 model.
