... pedestal table ... trim the edges with aluminum channel what do guys think yes or no
First thought, with those rich colors, wood edging. But having seen examples of your work, I bet you could make aluminum look great too.
@LaRea my first thought was brass but It would cost to much a wood edge wouldn't work for me it would get banged up to much so aluminum next best thing maybe brushed alum or polished or maybe paint the alum same color of the boat
How did you lay that plank and deal with the angled floor section at the galley/bow wall?
started with laying a vynil floor adhesive let it tack up pre heat the plank with a heat gun till nice and soft then lay down heated more once done rolled it out and that's it sand bag on top overnight your done to pull it up first you need some walker and a chipping gun
@Liberty44140 no they are ac only but I was able to take the power pack from another boat fridge I had and adapted to the galley fridge now it does both but I'm trying to find another one to do the outside one

Nice! Hey I see the drill popping open the trash bin lid. There is a great thread here on adding a spring to that lid to hold it up and it works great. With all you’ve done that’s probably a Friday evening cocktail project
@Liberty44140 slick thanks for the idea but unfortunately I would not work with my setup Im making fiberglass speaker pods on the arch so they would be sticking out 3 to 4 inch the door won't open fully I think not sure yet still working on a design plus do to my new ice maker the trashcan had to get eliminated I'll have to figure something out just alot of factors to work out on that one corner
@LaRea dam your eyes are sharp lol you rite 14 2 all mids and thanks for the link pretty slick here is a pic for you check out what I call the nuke football lol
Yes, the wind is really blowing today as LaRea said. I'm glad I have the geothermal unit. Although, when I get home I'll get the fireplace roaring and at least have the family room in upper 70's!
javhav, I don't blame you for not getting out there today. I plan on doing some tinkering around on my boat soon. Visited her this past Saturday just to check up. I need to come up with a few small fun projects.

Here's the thread on the spring support for the trash lid. Very high on the bang-for-the-buck scale.
