Sea change: Handy selling at last?

Right, so the sea trial was today on Handy's diesel 342.  I know any sea trial is at best a 25% chance, but supposing it sells.  What's next for Handy?  Someday, it will no longer be certain that Handy will chime in with "diesel is better."  Will the forum be the same?

    You guys wont believe this. The people that have contracted to buy my boat should not own a boat. They dont know what outdrives are, dont know what trim tabs are, nothing!!!  I dont know What to do

    21 foot center console with a 175 diesel out 

    Handy most people that get in to boating don't think about the boat they think about going across the water with the wind in their hair.
     Like my kids with their cars if it starts and runs I can just go any where.

    So Handy, i would have assumed your buyers wanted your boat because it is a very rare diesel cruiser. If they don’t know what they are getting, why your boat?

    I would buy it but diesel to me is inboards not I/o
    i absolutely love taking my brother in laws 14ft beam sea ray express out 
    that thing turns on a dime and backing into a dock is easy

    After it went on the market a few weeks back, we had instant calls and showings. They knew they wanted a diesel boat and smaller than what they used to have which was a 42 straight shaft diesel. They have never heard of a Rinker or Yanmar diesels. My last boat I sold was an even more bizarre story.

    With that nice lift and cover over it, I'd think you would want some type of boat there.  Even if it is smaller just to take out for the day.  If you'd made that lift a bit bigger, you could have ole Dream 'Inn on that lift for the winters! :)

    My grandparents had a great house on a canal on Estero in Ft. Myers Beach. Great boathouse with lift. When they decided to get out of boating, they always found someone that lived close but not on the water to rent the lift to so that it didn't sit empty.

    Well, if living there with no boat isn't illegal, it's certainly immoral.  I'm willing to wait and see what shows up in the lift.

    You must not enjoy it as much as the rest of us, It's been 10 days for me, not being on the water, My legs are not right, the earth is to solid, you'll come back. LaRea is correct, living where you do and having what you have and NO BOAT immoral,  therapy is for you. Is it not the reason you moved there? At least you can put one of your Kayak's out there.
