    It's standard equipment!  It is the correct diameter too. @Alswagg was on the team at Rinker that did the research.  Because he's a giver.

    So towards  the end of summer I hit something in water definitely wasn't a rock and I was in the channel around 1am going back to the dock scared the heII out of me but thank God I made it back but the boat took some heavy damage I haven't wanted to post about it until I started working on it so week I have put some work in here's the progress so far

    I bought a upper unit with no gears and I pickled the old unit now I just need to swap the gears the lower unit I had an extra one but I needed to cut the prop off so I can put a new drive together

    Looking at the glass and drive I’m thinking channel marker or something that floats higher than a log. What is the brown epoxy looking stuff on both drives?

    Wow, that's quite an impact.  I'm glad the hole up front was above the waterline.  

    I love cruising at night, but I'd never go fast at night without radar.  You should look into adding radar to your Simrad system.

    Or flir night vision. Not sure if it integrates to simrad as its Raymarine but my well mate has it and it can be pitch black out wit zero moon or lights and we can see everything ahead in his console screen as if it were a sunny day. Even puts a box around things it sees like birds or whatever.
